Machines that understand our behavior
The mission of the Human Sensing Laboratory is to develop advanced computational tools to model and understand human behavior from sensory data (e.g. video, motion capture, audio). Our work is motivated by applications in the fields of human health, computer graphics, machine vision, biometrics and human-machine interface. Research in the laboratory has been generously supported by federal agencies, including NSF, NIMH, DARPA and ONR, as well as private industry.
