I am a Ph.D. student at the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University, where I closely work with Dr. Fernando De la Torre and Dr. Jeffrey Cohn in the Human Sensing Lab and the Affect Analysis Group. My research interests involve computer vision and machine learning, specifically the problems related to face and attribute recognition, temporal and spatial common pattern discovery, and retrieval. Currently I am working on an age-old yet exciting and unresolved topic on automatic facial expression analysis.
